Children In Need

Thomas Clarkson Academy's 6th form students recently showcased their creativity and generosity by dressing up as their favourite fictional characters and hosting a bake sale during break time. This fun and engaging event was organised to raise funds for the well-known charity, Children in Need.

The school corridors were filled with an array of characters from beloved books, movies, and TV shows, bringing a vibrant and festive atmosphere to the academy. Students and staff alike enjoyed the delicious homemade treats on offer courtesy of our wonderful catering team, with all proceeds going directly to support Children in Need.

Thanks to the creative efforts of our students and the generosity of the school community, we are delighted to announce that over £120 was raised. This charitable donation will help provide essential support to disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Head of 6th Form Mrs Hornby shared her thoughts on the event: "As always, I am blown away by the creativity and fun the students bring to this important charity. We have raised over £120 which will go to support young people. I am very proud of the 6th Form students and their commitment to bringing awareness to supporting others."

We are incredibly proud of our 6th Form students for demonstrating their dedication to this worthy cause again this year. Their efforts not only brought joy to the school but also made a meaningful impact on those in need.

Well done to everyone involved!
