Bright futures await students starting a new adventure
We wish the very best to students who left us before the holiday and are starting on a new pathway this autumn - whether it's university or an apprenticeship.

A future involving marketing and the world of management awaits a student who is heading for their first term at Bath University.
Paulina Trapaviciute is reading management with marketing, which is a four-year course including a year-long work placement within the industry.
Achieving an A in maths, B in art and design and a Distinction* for business, Paulina is looking forward to starting her new life as an undergraduate.
“Working in a fashion house on the business side of things would be good,” she said.
Also starting university later in the autumn is Monika Sabaliauskaite who will be reading business management at the University of Reading which also has an industry placement year.
With a B in maths and art, along with a Distinction* in business, Monika said she was looking forward to university life.
“I’m not too sure what my career will be. I will specialise in an area when I am at university,” she said.
Monika is also the first person in her family to go to university.
Student Laurence Twycross is also aiming for university, and took A level maths a year early which means he could concentrate on physics and further maths. He will return to join Year 13 this autumn.
Holly Campbell was awarded a Distinction* in business, as well as passing both psychology and history A levels.
She is heading into a retail apprenticeship in business management so she can earn while she continues her education.
Artjoms Vasilijevs is going to Loughborough University after achieving the grades he needed to attend and read psychology - and he is also the first in his family to go to university.
“Loughborough has so much sport, which I will really enjoy,” said Artjans, who was awarded a Distinction* in his sports studies. His course also includes a placement year to gain industry experience.
Student Gvido Malinovskis is starting life at the University of York where he will be reading theoretical physics. He also took an A level a year early with an A in maths, which meant he could study further maths, computer science and physics.
