STEM brings primary pupils to our academy

Our school has been buzzing with visitors from 14 primaries arriving over two days to take part in a STEM event.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths was very much on the agenda for the festival which was delivered by our own science staff along with the 20 Twenty Productions team from March and Cambridge Science.

Among the variety of challenges set for our visitors was discovering a bug in computer coding which was stopping a robot from working, and completing construction puzzles.

“The students were involved in various activities over the two days, from exploring chemical reactions to programming. It was a brilliant learning opportunity for all the Year 5s who took part,” said Mr Tarsitano.
