Be accepting of autism every day of the year

While April was autism acceptance month, you haven't missed the chance to learn more about the condition and those who live with it.
There was a special display in our library to mark events throughout the month and there are always a great number of books which feature characters who are on the autistic spectrum.
The selection includes fiction and non-fiction and some are written by neurodivergent authors.
Some help you to understand more about yourself, your friends or someone in your family group who may be experiencing life from a different point of view.
