  • Year 8 PGL Trip Information

    Our Year 8 Residential trip to PGL Caythorpe Court is taking place on Monday 21st March – Wednesday 23rd March. We are very much looking forward to taking the students away for what is shaping up to be a very busy and action packed 3 days.     I would usually host a “Parents Information Evening” where you are invited along to watch a presentation, ask any questions and pass on some final important information ahead of the visit. However, due to the current climate this evening is unable to take place. I have recorded a short video which summarises our trip and hopefully answers some questions you or your child may have.

    Attached to this letter is a kit list provided by PGL. It is important that students pack for all weathers and bring plenty of spare clothes in preparation for a variety of activities. Bedding is not provided and therefore students must pack a sleeping bag & pillow. I have summarised the key times for departure and arrival below:

    Monday 21st March

    Students arrive from 8:15am via sports lettings entrance and base themselves in the theatre with all bags/bedding. Aiming for a 10am prompt departure. No school uniform required.

    Wednesday 23rd March

    Depart from the centre at 2pm, expected back at TCA approximately 4pm.

     

    If your child has any medical, dietary or other requirements please let me know by Friday 4th March.
