From acting to automotive – we have it all covered
A future in motor mechanical engineering is on the horizon for two of our students who are taking up their places on industry-related courses.
Harry Bligh and Joshua Fisher are both set to start on mechanical engineering courses at the Wisbech campus of the College of West Anglia.
Both are already keen on mechanics and Joshua is following a family tradition in choosing his future career.
“My grandad served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) in the army, so it’s something I’ve always been interested in,” he said.
Harry is going to study the same course and has a passion for all things Volkswagen.
He has been a student at our academy since Year 7 and said he had enjoyed his time with us.
“It has been good to be here, and I’m looking forward to going to college,” he said.
But a completely different career path beckons Ethan Cross, who is staying with us to study A levels in drama, English literature and film studies.
“I definitely want to go into acting as a career,” he said.
Ethan achieved the GCSE grades he needed to secure his place in Sixth Form and will be returning next week.
