The launch of Brooke Weston Trust's 10 Years Plus Club

There was a very special celebration at our academy before we broke-up for the summer holidays.

Brooke Weston Trust, of which TCA is a valued member, held three special events to honour its dedicated employees who have served for ten years or more.

This was the inaugural ‘Brooke Weston Trust 10 Years Plus Club' celebration, bringing together staff from various schools within the Trust to recognise their commitment and hard work.

Staff with more than 500 years’ combined experience were invited to the special event hosted by Dr Andrew Campbell, Chief Executive of the Brooke Weston Trust.

They were all presented with a commemorative certificate and are now officially members of the inaugural ‘10 years Plus Club 2024’ and have the pin badges to show it.

Staff who received their membership were: Miss Fisher (36 years), Mrs S Anderson (28), Mrs Salmon (27), Mrs Phoenix (25), Ms Morris (24), Mrs Tarsitano (20), Mrs Trenoweth (19), Mrs Allgood (19), Mrs Broddle (18 and now retired), Mrs Tjurina (18), Mrs Loosemoore (17), Mrs Worrallo (18), Mrs Kendal (16), Miss Walpole (16), Ms Bowen (14), Mrs Heasell (14), Mrs Holland (14), Miss Robinson (14), Miss A Anderson (13), Mr Bliss (13), Mrs Adams (12). Mr Chapman (12), Mrs Doyle (12), Mrs Linnett (12), Miss Smith (12), Mrs Turner (11), Mr Aspland (11), Ms Njingo (11), Mrs Page (11), Mrs Raj (11), Mrs Rollings (11), Miss Rose (11), Mrs Ziebart (11), Mrs Dodd (10) and Mrs Wilkes (10).

In total, 562 years of combined service was celebrated by staff who reached the milestone before the end of the academic year.

“It’s phenomenal that so many people in this organisation have given so much of their lives to it. You really are at the forefront of what education is meant to be about,” said Dr Campbell.

At the Brooke Weston Academy event, Andrew was himself recognised for his remarkable 28 years of service.
