Sports Day sees King retain the trophy

Celebrations were tinged with green when the trophy was awarded to King students on sports day.

Points accumulated throughout the year were added to the athletics competition held on sports day, along with a softball competition and the yearly House Sports Quiz.

The scores were nip-and-tuck all day and the lead changed hands several times, which made for an exciting event.

“A huge thank-you to all our staff, everyone was involved in one way or another to make the day a great success,” said Miss Anderson, 2nd in PE.

The final scores saw King achieve 6554, Pankhurst 6162 and Madiba 5853.
